Joan Bell Lambert

Joan Bell Lambert, 81, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at her home. She was born on July 28, 1929 in Daviess Co., Ky. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a graduate of Owensboro High School. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and an avid follower of politics and current events. She was a music enthusiast who also enjoyed decorating, gardening, and reading. Joan was raised by her late aunts, Sarah and Helen Bell, and grandmother, Melody Bell.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Mallory S. Lambert, two daughters, Melissa L. Rose and husband Bill of Tullahoma, TN and Judy L. McCann and husband Roger of Frankfort, four grandchildren, Mallory Joan Rose, Josh W. Rose, Joanna Condra, and Roger McCann, three great grandchildren, and a brother, Joseph R. Bell of Louisville.

Private services will be held with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
