Joan Gower, 67, of 3426 B. Wandering Lane, Owensboro, Kentucky died Thursday, June 17, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Gower was born September 20, 1936 to Johnny and Inez Cusic Cummings in Henderson County, Kentucky.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Gower; two daughters, Candace Martin of Newburgh, IN. and Peggy Freeman of Owensboro; two sons, Marcus Martin of Henderson and Bruce Martin of Owensboro; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Frederick Tony Thomas, in 2003.
Funeral services are private. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
