Joan Edge

Joan Huff Edge, 73, of 1246 Castlewood Drive, Owensboro, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. The Daviess County native was the daughter of the late Que B. Huff and Ruby Dixie Wilhite. She was a home maker, and a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, enjoyed playing bingo, casino, shopping and antiques.
Mrs .Edge was also preceded in death by a son, Steve Edge.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul C. Edge, her children and spouses, Dwayne and Nila Edge, Terri and Thomas Carrico, Stacy and Mike Foster, Larry Edge, and Tamara Harper, all of Owensboro, 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a brother Jerry and wife Carolyn Huff of Evansville, IN.,and a sister Marlene Conner of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 5, 2006 ,at 12:00 p.m. at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with Fr.. Freddie Byrd officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home, with prayers said at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Blessed Mother Catholic Church, Building Fund.
