Jo Ann VanWinkle

Jo Ann Hinton VanWinkle, age 61, of Maryville died at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church and employed by Downey Oil Company. Mrs. VanWinkle is preceded in death by her mother Emma Hulsey Hinton, a sister Carol Statler and a brother Jimmy Hinton.

She is survived by her husband, Bill VanWinkle, three sons, Terry Tyler, Dan Tyler and Scott Tyler all of Maryville, a step-son, Kevin VanWinkle of Maryville, a daughter Tina Tyler Bailes of Maryville, and two step-daughters, Tammy VanWinkle and Kristi Brooks of Maryville, 13 Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandchild. She is also survived by her father, William Hinton of Indiana, and three brothers Donny Hinton, Billy Hinton, and Gary Hinton.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m., Thurday, March 8, 2001 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Reverend John Coates and Reverend Gary Stinnett officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 08, 2001, at Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, TN. Family will also receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Saturday. March 10, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro, KY. Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m., at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
