Jo Ann Bain

Jo Ann Bain, 78, died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Owensboro Place. Jo Ann was born in Covington, Kentucky to the late Benjamin and Mary (Penick) Clifton. She lived many years in Lexington, Kentucky where she was a secretary for a veterinarian and she wrote pedigrees for thoroughbred horses, and was a member of Victory Christian Church in Lexington. She liked to play bingo. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Collins Bain, June 13, 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Steve (Jackie) Bain of Owensboro, and Tony (Kathy) Bain of Lexington, a sister, Ruthie Chambers of Nebraska, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2011at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2 p.m.EST. in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Kentucky. Online condolences may be expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
