Jewell D. Nantz

Jewell Hardin Nantz, 75, of Evansville (formerly of Owensboro) died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 while vacationing in Arizona. Born August 16, 1929, Mrs. Nantz was the daughter of the late Dewey Hardin and Mary Stallings Hardin. She was a homemaker and member of the Glenville Baptist Church. She loved listening to gospel music and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.L. Nantz in 2003.

She is survived a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Brenda Nantz of Evansville; and a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Elmer Jones of Lebanon, TN; 2 gandchiildren, Kevin Henderson of Paducah and Tanya Henderson of Nashville, TN; and a great-grandchild, Bailey Henderson of Sebree; and 5 half-brothers, John Hardin and Wilma Hardin both of Florida, Tommy Hardin of Virginia, and Marty Hardin, Ray Hardin, and James Hardin all of Owensboro.

Graveside services are 3 P.M. Monday at Christ Chapel in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home Monday from 12 Noon to 3 P.M..
