Jesse Alexander Addington

Jesse A. Red Addington, Jr. 83, of 313 Longfellow Drive, passed away Friday, December 11th 2004 at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse A and Nell Keller Addington, Sr.

He was retired from Sears, Roebuck and Company after 38 years. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge Monsarret #179 in Panther. He served in the Army during WWII, enjoyed gardening and spending time at Rough River.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Ruth Addington; one son, David Glenn Addington (Debbie) of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Christopher Addington and Natalie Addington both of Owensboro; and one brother Jay Dee Addington (Pat) of Clarksville, TN.

Services will be held on Monday, December 13th at 2:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12th from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and after 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the St. John United Methodist Church.
