Jerry Wayne Reed

Jerry Wayne Reed, age 58 of Owensboro, passed away October 21, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System after a brief illness.

Jerry was born on January 21, 1954 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late John Reed and Dimple Reed Clark.

Aside from his loving parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his loving great grandmother; Hallie Howard and grandmother, Merle Daniel (with whom he lived for many years).

Left behind to mourn the passing of Mr. Reed are his brother; Michael Reed of Decatur, Georgia and his sister Linda Harbin of Titusville, Florida. Jerry is also survived by his many friends at the Wendell Foster Campus where he resided for the past 12 years.

Funeral services will be at 12:00PM on Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday and after 11:00AM on Thursday at the funeral home.

A reception will be held at the Wendell Foster Campus immediately following the graveside services in the Young Building.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Wendell Foster Campus.
