Jerry P. Mischel

Jerry P. Mischel, 68, of Owensboro, passed away December 3, 2017 at his home. Jerry was born in Owensboro on May 20, 1949 to the late Parvin and Mildred Reisz Mischel Sr. Jerry spent 30 years as a teacher for the Owensboro Public School System and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years Charlotte Taylor Mischel; sons, Todd Mischel (Kristin) and Adam Mischel (Andrea); grandchildren Mackenzie, Madelynn, Landon, and Raylin Mischel, siblings, Bill Mischel (Gloria), Mike Mischel (Karen), Tony Mischel (Rhonda), Tom Mischel (Anita), and Connie Mischel Clark (Steve), and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass will be 11am Thursday December 7, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9 until 11am at the church. Entombment will take place at Resurrection cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy make take the form of donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or the Eden Foundation of Kentucky.
