Jerry David Bartlett

Jerry David Bartlett, 75, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 while under the care of Hospice of Western KY. He was born August 4, 1939 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Lyman and Lyndall Grayson Bartlett. Jerry was of the Baptist faith and retired from Alcoa Aluminum after 23 years as a supervisor. He was a U. S. Army veteran and enjoyed reading, hunting, and fishing. He was a 1957 graduate of Owensboro Senior High School and had attended Western KY University and Brescia College.

Surviving are the mother of his children and his caregiver, Ruth Bartlett of Owensboro, two sons, Jim Bartlett of Mt. Carmel, IL and Rob Bartlett and wife, Jennifer of Owensboro, four grandchildren, Robert Bartlett, Jr., Carolann Bartlett, Hunter Loyd, and Alex (Betty) Loyd, two great grandchildren, Leeland Loyd and Molly Jennings, a sister, Ann Hay of Paducah, and a niece, Sherry Hay of Charlotte, TN.

Private services will be held with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
