Jerry L. Bartlett

Jerry L. Bartlett, 62, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Daviess County to the late Henry and Margie Coleman Bartlett, had worked for Whitehall Furniture for over 30 years, and served his country in the United States Navy. Jerry was an avid UK basketball fan, enjoyed garage sales and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a caring husband, father, and Pappaw. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Stephen R. Bartlett, Ralph L. Bartlett, David W. Bartlett and Barbara Ann Bartlett.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Debbie Hagan Bartlett; daughters, Amy Collins, Beth Bartlett and Ashley Callahan (John) all of Owensboro; grandchildren, Hunter Collins, Hagan Collins, Houston Collins, and Annie-Kate Callahan; sisters, Joyce Patterson (Paul) of Owensboro and Shirley Dieckmann (John) of Hardinsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at Noon on Saturday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
