JEFF PRATHER

Jeffrey B. "Cornbread" Prather, 53, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on August 5, 1960 in Daviess Co., KY. Jeff has been employed for over 20 years with Diamond Lanes South and Midtown Bowling Lanes. He was a member of Breckenridge St. United Methodist Church and a 1978 graduate of Daviess Co. High School. He was an avid U. K. sports fan, especially basketball, and also loved to play. Jeff was the type of person who never met a stranger and had many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George David Prather in 2010.

Surviving are his daughter, Angelia Prather of Owensboro, his mother, Anna Prather of Owensboro, sisters, Terry Lynn (Mark) Wagner and Lorrie Jean Bartlett (Byron Puckett), all of Owensboro, nieces and nephews, Felicia Bartlett, Meagen Wagner, Aaron Prather, and Brandon Bartlett, all of Owensboro, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 1st, 2014 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon till service time at the funeral home.
