Jeffrey Pate

Jeffrey Scotty Pate, 40, of 1445 Oakwood Court, Owensboro died Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on December 29, 1961 the son of Paul Ray Pate and Lois Jean Clark Pate.

He was employed with Painters & Allied Trades Local # 156 in Evansville for 24 years. He was a member of 3rd Baptist Church and had attended Apollo High School. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sherri Calhoun Pate; two daughters, Ashley Rae and Emily Elizabeth Pate, both at home; his parents, Lois Clark Pate of Owensboro and Paul Pate of Owensboro; two brothers, Tim and Brian Pate of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Todd Camp and Father Pat Reynolds. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2002 and after 12:00 p.m. Sunday.
