Jeffrey Scott Cecil, 24, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System from injuries he suffered in an auto accident. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. on December 13, 1983 and was employed as a Team Leader at the Dana Corp. He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and was a 2002 graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School. He enjoyed Florida Gators sports, Nascar, watching movies and wrestling, and spending time with his family and friends. He also really loved his "boys only" fishing trips that he, his family, and friends went on all the time. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Emmit Earl Claycomb on August 26, 2005.

Surviving are his parents, Steve and Donna Cecil of Owensboro, his brother, Jonathan Cecil of Owensboro, his grandparents, Louis and Liz Cecil and Betty Claycomb, all of Owensboro, great grandmothers, Mary Lee Eubanks of Owensboro and Lucille Claycomb of Hawesville, his girlfriend, Marci Aud of Owensboro, and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins that he loved very much.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 23, at Precious Blood Catholic Church with Father Brad Whistle officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday and after 12:00 Noon Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Precious Blood Catholic Church Building Fund, 3306 Fenmore St., Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
