Jean C. Nuchols

Jean C. Nuchols, 87, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jean was born on June 19, 1927 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Blanche Chapman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy A. Nuchols, and several brothers and sisters.

Jean was a 1945 graduate of Utica High School. She attended Owensboro Christian Church and Owensboro Church of Christ, and was a proud member of the Owensboro Area Quilters' Guild.

Jean is survived by three daughters, Donna K. Risley of Louisville, KY; Karen L. Jones (Stuart) of Atlanta, Georgia; Earlene Schindler (Kenny) of Owensboro; and a brother, Tom Chapman of Owensboro. She was the proud grandmother of Amy Risley Schuster (Beau) of Louisville; Troy Risley of Paducah; Evan Jones of Birmingham, AL; Allyson Jones of Augusta, GA; Heather Fulkerson (Jonathon) of Bardstown; Holly Bishop of Livermore; Meicka Dawson (Mark) of Daytona Beach, Florida; and Amanda Carter of Owensboro, along with 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the chapel at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10am-2pm on Thursday.
