Jasper Trey "Rexx" Brown

Jasper Trey "Rexx" Brown, III, 18, of Owensboro, passed away June 1, 2019. Jasper was born March 19, 2001 to Jasper Brown, Jr. and Angela Martin. He was born and raised in Largo, Florida where he attended Largo High School. When he moved to Owensboro he attended Gateway High School. Trey was a phenomenal football player and played for the Largo Junior Packers. He loved all types of sports, especially football. Trey had the brightest smile and had a heart of gold. He loved all his friends and family. Trey will forever be missed, loved and cherished by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jasper Brown, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Cleo Brown; maternal great-grandmother, Anna Louise Martin; maternal grandfather, Robert Martin, Sr. and two nephews, Martavion and Maurice.

Jasper is survived by his parents, Jasper Brown, Jr. and Angela Martin; maternal grandmother, Beverly McRath; eight sisters, Patrice, Tashari, Kwanza, Da'Rasha, Cleo, Unique, Trinity and Ajanee; two brothers, Charles and Omar; sixteen uncles, Alonzo (Kelli), Buckey (Liz), Johnnie B (Cynthia), Catman, Leon (Nita), James (Toni), Aaron (Abby), Adrian, Dominic, Michael (Tabitha), Chad (Kian), Angelo (Charity), Robert Jr. (Amy), Nicholas (Jonnia), Darnell and Steven (Nikki); seven aunts, Kathleen (David), Shanta, Shanae', Barbara Jean, Belita, Starr, Tiffany; a girlfriend, Oceaniana Myers; a host of cousins, including special cousins, Tyson, Alaysha "FC" and Diorion; and his mentor and former coach from Largo, Coach Tay.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday June 9 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 until 8:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
