Jason Alan "Jay" Yeiser 42, of Florence, KY, formerly of Owensboro, died Monday, August 30, 2010 at his home. He was born January 23, 1968 to Glenn and Becky Gerteisen Yeiser in Daviess County. He was Sr. Systems Administrator for Innotrac Corporation at Target in Hebron, KY, and previously worked as a computer technician at the Cincinnati Fire Department. He enjoyed his work and made many lasting friendships. He also enjoyed working on cars, computers, handling real estate and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his sons; Austin Yeiser, and Jacob Yeiser both of Owensboro; his mother, Becky Johnson and her husband, Jerry of Owensboro, his father, Glenn Yeiser of Utica; his sister, Natalie Sigler and her husband, Matthew of Owensboro; his step-brother, Jeremiah Johnson and his wife, Jessica of Smyrna, TN, and a step-sister, Jennifer Faith of Belleville, IL; and his grandmother, Mildred Gerteisen of Owensboro; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cincinnati Fire and Rescue Department, or the American Heart Association.
