Jared Thomas Payne, 24, passed away October 6, 2015 in Carrollton, Ky. He was born in Owensboro on September 17, 1991 to Phillip Payne and Christina Russell. Jared was Body and Paint Technician at Unique Paint and Body. He was a very talented artist and loved all cars, trucks, fishing, and horseback riding. He also enjoyed music, dancing, and having fun with family and friends.

Jared was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Thomas E. Bowley and Barbara Bowley and cousins, Michael Hatfield and Dan Clint Hayden Jr.

He is survived by his Mother; Christina Russell (JD Patterson) of Dawson Springs; Father, Phillip (Dana) Payne of Whitesville; step-father, Scotty Simpson of Shelbyville; two sisters, Jessica Payne and Jordan Payne of Owensboro; brother Seth Payne of Whitesville; grandparents, Belinda Helm of Rumsey; John (Annette) Payne of Knottsville; Aunts and Uncles, James McPherson, Shannon Crowe, Donald Crowe Jr., all of Owensboro, Dan (Teresa) Payne of Whitesville, Jimmy (Brenna) Payne of Tennessee, and Michael (Julie) Payne of Irvington; many cousins, and special friends, Bobby Couch and Stephen Couch of Trimble County, and Kyle Chapin of Pendelton County.

Visitation will be held in Owensboro on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 12 noon, until 4:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with friends sharing memories at 3:00 p.m. Additional visitation and service will be held at Tandy, Eckler, Riley Funeral Home 804 Highland Ave. in Carrollton, KY on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with services following visitation at 2:00 p.m.
