Janet Marie Chowen

Janet Marie Chowen, 81, passed away September 7, 2015 at Wellington Parc in Owensboro, KY. She was born in Los Angeles, CA, December 6, 1933 to the late George and Inez Savage. Janet worked hard and retired as an Engineering Secretary from Ragu. After retiring, she and her husband, Chad, built a home at Lake Malone. She enjoyed gardening, golf, bowling, and was a wonderful mother.

Janet is preceded in death by her two sons, John Paul and Mick Spoon.

She is survived by her husband, Chad W. Chowen, of Lewisburg; sons, Donnie Spoon of Aberdeen, WA, Steve Spoon (Carla) of Seattle, WA; daughter, Jackie Wilson (Todd) of Rockport, IN; step-children, Chris Chowen (Carla) of Graham, WA, Darci Chowen, and Cheryl Patterson (Bill), both of Freeland, WA; sixteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one sister, Jackie Canterbury, of Big Horn, WY.

The family is holding a private service.
