Jane Carolyn Wolfe

Jane Carolyn Wolfe, 74, of Owensboro died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mrs. Wolfe was born in Central City to the late Charles and Evelyn Embery. In 1957, she married J. Richard Wolfe, who preceded her in death in 1986. Jane was a founding member of Century Christian Church in Owensboro. In 1969, the Wolfe family moved to Chicago, and Jane was active in the First Congregational Church in Western Springs, Illinois from 1972 to the present. She recently moved back to Owensboro. She was a loving mother and wife, was an avid reader and liked shopping and Pilates.
Surviving are her children, Charles Bradford Wolfe of Austin, Texas, and Melanie Jane Wolfe and her husband, Mark A. Mourlas of Mokena, Illinois, two sisters, Betty Sue Holman of Russellville, Ky., and Patty Jo Wilson of Owensboro.
There are no local services planned as interment will be in Chicago.
