Jane Onstott Lowe

Jane Onstott Lowe, 78, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at her home. Born in Daviess County on March 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James Herman and Roberta Cook Onstott; was a graduate of Whitesville High School; and was a charter member of Bellevue Baptist Church and the Golden Circle Sunday School Class. Mrs. Lowe was the office nurse for Dr. William Ward for 34 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Surviving are her daughter, Tami Neel of Owensboro; grandchildren, Rev. Adam (Hope) Neel and Madeline Jane Neel of Lexington; great-grandson, Alexander Neel; a sister, Mary King of Owensboro; and nieces and nephews, Susan King, Gary King, Cary King, and Kathy Jane (Cliff) Halley all of Owensboro.

Services are 12 noon Saturday, September 18, 2010 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-7 p.m. on Friday and after 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Bellevue Baptist Church or to the St Stephen Cathedral Pre-School.
