Jane Sarabeth Johnson Blue

Jane Sarabeth Johnson Blue, 79, of Owensboro died Friday, December 9, 2016 in Owensboro. She was born January 15, 1937, in Ohio County to the late William Thomas "Tommy" Johnson and Mary Evelyn Porter Johnson.
Jane owned and operated several retail stores through the years and was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. She was a proud survivor of breast cancer and previously involved with American Cancer Society. Jane loved visits by her children and grandchildren, scrapbooking and researching family genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Murrell Houston Dockery, in 1964; brothers, Thomas "Tooter", Terry and Brent Johnson; and sister, Brenda Johnson Sanders.
Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Thomas "Tom" Kendall Blue, Jr.; two daughters, Shannon Dockery Madden (David) of Lexington, SC and Sharron Dockery Beal (David) of Indianapolis, IN; a son, Thomas Kendall "Ken" Blue III (Kristi) of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, Avery Beal, Lindsey Beal, Layne (Katie) Madden, Brent (Mallory) Madden, Cody Blue, Logan Blue and Isaac "Ike" Blue; a brother, Garth (Scarlett) Johnson of Beaver Dam, KY; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 2 PM, Monday, December 12th, with visitation after 11 AM, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Dr. James Wedding will officiate. Interment will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
