James W. Zoglman, 72, of 4875 Veach Road, Owensboro, died Tuesday April 5, 2005 at his home. Mr. Zoglman was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was in the last graduating class of St. Francis Acadamy. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Brescia College in 1955, and began working for Alexander and Company ,that fall, before he was drafted into the Navy in November of 1955. He retired from Alexander & Co. in 1997.He enjoyed tax preparation and did returns in his home after retiring. He also enjoyed traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents,Frank and Edwina ( Logsdon ) Zoglman. He is survived by a sister, Virginia Zoglman of Owensboro,an aunt, Lucy Drury and husband, Dennis of Homosassa Springs, Florida, three godchildren, Linda Logsdon of Philpot, Ann Howard of Whitesville, and David Medley of Corydon, Kentucky, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetry. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, with prayers at 7 p.m., and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home.
