James F. Wilson, 66, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born September 11, 1942, to the late Roy and Emma Magenheimer Wilson in Daviess County. He retired from the Hon Company, and was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, watching UK basketball, going to garage sales, and especially being with his family.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Wilson, and a sister, Toby Dukes.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ruth Wilson; a son, James Randy Wilson of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Amanda and Jamie; two great-grandchildren, Destiny and Javion; two brothers, Ronnie and Jack, and a sister, Colleen, all of Owensboro.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday and after 8:30 AM Saturday, at the funeral home.
