James Wayne "Jim" Wiggins, 66 of Utica, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of McLean County, born to the late Robert Franklin and Anna Lee (Field) Wiggins. Jim was a heavy equipment mechanic, a machinist and a cabinet maker, making cabinets and fine furniture. He was a member of St. Anthony Parish and a great husband and father.
Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Betty (Fulkerson) Wiggins, sons, James Wayne Wiggins, Steve (Kathleen) Wiggins, Kevin (Leigh) Wiggins, and Adam (Peggy) Wiggins, a brother, Jerry (Mondie) Wiggins, two sisters, Jane Ann (Butch) Clark and Mary Faye (Terry) Schrecker, six grandsons and six granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Clark officiating. Visitation will be Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory from 2 to 8 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Visitation Saturday will be at St. Anthony Church after 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Anthony Catholic Church.
