James H. "Jim" Vineyard

James H. “Jim” Vineyard, 75, of Owensboro, passed away on April 5, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 30, 1950 in Daviess County to the late James P. and Ila Babbitt Vineyard. Jim was retired from Thompson Chemical in Terre Haute, Indiana as a manager. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. After his retirement, Jim enjoyed building and maintaining swimming pools and also fishing. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Trogden and his mother and father-in-law, Colleen and Willie Brown.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Judy Vineyard; a son, James Dale Vineyard of Copperas Cove, Texas; a daughter, Jennifer Dawn Kalber of Lewis, Indiana; several grandchildren including Austin and Harlee Vineyard, Britny York, and Everleigh Hughes, and numerous great and great great grandchildren; three sisters, Carolyn Ford, Glenada Boone, and a special sister Mary Sue Sandlin, all of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
