James B. Storm

James B. "Jim" Storm, 69, of 2002 E. 6th. St., Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late J. B. and Angela Mae Wedding Storm. He was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church and was retired as co-owner of Storm Pet Supply, Inc. with his wife after 34 years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Carole in their motorhome and had been to all 50 states. They also had been to Europe, China, and Australia. He loved his church and church family very much and had tremendous faith in God. He also loved meeting people and had never met a stranger. He volunteered for Golden Partners and enjoyed spending time with all his family. He was a 1968 graduate of Brescia College having received a business degree.

Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Carole Jones Storm, two daughters, Laura Wells and husband John and Dianne Hall and husband George, Jr., all of Owensboro, and a son, Jamie "Jim" Storm and companion Pamela Colwell of Marion, Ill., eight grandchildren, Jonathan Wells, Jamie Wells, Lee Ann Wells, J. T. Wells, Zeb Wells, Beth Hall, Allison Hall, and Emily Hall, three great grandchildren, five brothers, Wilford Storm and wife Pat, Phil Storm and wife Ann, and John Storm and wife Marla, all of Owensboro, Stephen Storm and wife Dorothy of Hartford, Ky. and Bob Storm and wife Mary Lou of Maceo, and four sisters, Mary Ann Haycraft and husband Jack and Della Payne and husband Bob, all of Philpot, Sandy Wilson and husband Gary of Elizabeth, Ind., and Elizabeth Boarman and husband Bill of Hartford.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 1, at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 8:30 A.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
