James Freddie Sosh, 59, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born on Nickel Ridge in Daviess County to the late James Robert and Tildy (Coin) Sosh. He was a former construction worker who loved to fish and go camping, play bingo and spend time with his family and friends.
A daughter, Lorie Ann Sosh, and two sisters, Wanda Pillow and Anna Horne, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie (Terry) Arnold of Owensboro, and Angela (Michael) Cooper of Whitesville, Ky., a son, Robert Hamilton, his lifelong companion, Camille Maupin of Owensboro, grandchildren, Brooke and Hunter Arnold, sisters, Mary Towery of Pace, FL., Lorene Sosh of Owensboro, brothers, James Sosh of Powderly, Ky., Junior Ray Hudson and Delbert Hudson, both of Beech Grove, Ky.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. and after 10a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
