James Dale Robinson

James Dale Robinson, 61, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Hosparus in Louisville. He was born June 29, 1953 in Daviess Co., KY, son of Robert T. Robinson and the late Frances Chapin Robinson. He graduated from Owensboro High School in 1972, attended the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1979. Jim began his career in 1979 as an engineer at Texas Gas Transmission Corporation in Owensboro. In 1985, he moved to A.C.B.L. in Jeffersonville, IN as a software engineer until 1992. At that point, he moved to Ceridian in Louisville as a software engineer and completed his career at Humana in Louisville.

Jim is survived by his father, Robert T. Robinson of Owensboro, his sisters, Nancy Craig Johnson and husband Tony of Louisville and Carol Robinson Greer and husband Bill of Bowling Green; his nephews and nieces, Eric (Brooke) Johnson of W. Des Moines, IA, Lindsay (Tom Pheiffer) Johnson of Langhorne, PA, Scott Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA, Drew Johnson of Fort Worth, TX, Tucker Greer, John Greer, and Ginna Greer, all of Bowling Green; and his great niece, Jordyn Marie Johnson of W. Des Moines. Jim will be greatly missed by both his family and his dear friends.

The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 11, at Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Settle Memorial.
