James Terry Robertson

James "Jamie" Terry Robertson Jr. , 36, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday March 14th 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Jamie was born in Owensboro on August 28, 1975. He grew up attending Stanley Baptist Church; was a 1993 graduate of Apollo High School and graduated from ITT Tech; worked at Swedish Match; and attended Apollo Heights Baptist Church. Jamie was a loving father and husband who always enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. Jamie was also known for his Boston Butt BBQ along with his love of all types of barbequing and its ability to bring friends and family together.

Jamie was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Hatfield Robertson; grandparents, Margret and Rudy Young and Mildred and Francis Hatfield, and great-grandparents, Percy and Frances Robertson.

Jamie is survived by his loving wife of 5 years, Beth Carman Robertson; his children Alyssa and Logan Robertson; his father James "Terry" Robertson Sr.; a brother, Jeremy Robertson; Beth's parents, Sharon and Benny Carman; and multitudes of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday March 17th 2012 at 10:00a.m. Brother Jerry Carter will officiate with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday March 16th from 2:00 til 7:00p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
