James M. Mueller

James M. "Jim" Mueller, 75, of Owensboro, passed away March 30, 2015. He was born May 17, 1939 in Louisville, to Frances Mueller and the late Julius Mueller. Jim spent his early years focused on working his way through school. After graduating from West Baden High School, he went on to earn his Masters Degree at Indiana State University. After graduating, Jim did what he loved to do; coach basketball and fish. For nearly 50 years, he worked hard as a coach while spending his time at the following schools; N.E. Dubois High School, Pike Central High School, Owensboro Catholic High School, and Daviess County High School. Jim married the love of his life, Jill, in 1968, and together they have two children.

Survivors include his wife, Jill Mueller; Son, Matt Mueller; daughter, Jamie Mueller; mother, Frances Mueller, and sisters, Mary Melton (Steve) and Julieanne Edwards (Harvey), and two very close and special friends, Jim and Jenny Wilson.

Services are scheduled for 12PM, Monday, April 6, 2015 at St. Stephens Cathedral. Visitation will be 12-6PM Saturday, April 4, 2015, with prayers at 4 PM, and Monday, 9:30-11:30AM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Parkinson Disease Association or Hospice of Western Kentucky.
