James Richard McCarthy

Mr. James Richard McCarthy Jr. age 47 passed away on July 30, 2015 in Owensboro. James was born on September 27, 1967 in Daviess County, to James Richard McCarthy Sr. and Patty Ann (Ranburger) McCarty.

James attended First Assembly of God in Owensboro.

Survivors include his parents: James Richard McCarthy Sr., Patty McCarty, children: Drew McCarthy of Glasgow, Ashley Sturgeon of Glasgow, Jordan McCarthy of Owensboro, step children: TJ Johnson, JJ Johnson, and Angel Sprague all of Owensboro, sister: Debbie Willard (Terry) of Utica, companion: Toni Hicks of Owensboro, 3 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, several nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

James was preceded in death by his brother: Barry McCarthy in 2008, and grandparents, stepfather: Fred McCarty.

Funeral services will be Monday August 3, 2015 at 12:00pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with pastor Tim Trout officiating, visitation will be Sunday August 2, 2015 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
