James Lynn Massie

Jim Massie, 41, of 3209 Daviess Street, Owensboro, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born March 3, 1965 to the late Arthur and Frances Yerkering Sapp in Christian County. He worked at Ernie Davis & Son Contractors, enjoyed wrestling, being a soccer coach and staying active in his boys sports.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Lee Sapp and William Eugene Sapp.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Jennifer Massie; his sons, Nick and Alex Massie, both at home; his brothers and sisters, Betty Jean Roach, Teresa Roberts, Joseph P. Sapp, Arthur Douglas Sapp, Albert Jr. Sapp and Mary Jane Anderson, all of Owensboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday and after 12:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
