James C. ''Pepper'' Martin, 90, of Habit, died Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Owensboro native was retired from the Sharp and Pfister Lumber Company where he was a carpenter. A methodist, he was the son of the late George Washington and Jennie May Martin and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 3 P.M. Saturday at Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery in Habit. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Friday, September 27 and after 9 A.M. on Saturday. The procession to the cemetery will leave the funeral home at 2:40 P.M.
