James Robert Lewis

James R. Jim Bob Lewis, 58, of Owensboro, died Friday, February 9, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. The Daviess Co. native was born November 17, 1948 to James Carol and Marie Tackett Lewis. Mr. Lewis enjoyed the printing business and was the co-owner of Clicprint, Inc. He always had a joke to tell and a smile on his face. In his spare time he liked to play cards at the AM VETS, and watch UK sports, girls softball, and Nascar.

Preceding him in death was his father, James Carol Lewis.

Survivors include his wife, Patti Autry Lewis, his mother, Marie Tackett Lewis, of Owensboro, his daughters and son-in-law, Sabra Lewis of Owensboro, and Brescia Renee and Chuck Porter of Utica, his sons and daughter-in-law, Rodney James and Sheila Roberts of Owensboro, James Robert Lewis, Jr. of Colorado, Mark Lewis of Owensboro, and James David Lewis of Owensboro, his grandchildren, English Brittany Roberts, Erica Roberts, Erin Elizabeth Porter, Lindzey Roberts, and Corbyn Michael Lyons, all of Owensboro, four step-daughters, and one step-son.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Scherer Cemetery in Stanley. Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
