James Michael Jones

James "Jim" Jones, 60, of Evansville, Ind., formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Parkersburg, W. Va. and was retired from Laborers Union Local #561 in Evansville, In. He loved his grandchildren very much and watching Nascar racing. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy R. Jones in 1960.

Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Toomey and husband Mark of Prairie Grove, Ark., and April Jones of Springdale, Ark., his mother, Isabell Young of Fayetteville, Pa., four grandchildren, Evan, Alex, Madison, and Hunter Toomey, all of Prairie Grove, four brothers, Donald Jones and Larry Jones, both of Parkersburg, W. Va., Gerald Jones of Little Hocking, Oh., and Charles Jones of Fayetteville, Pa., two sisters, Maddie Barker and Judy Kragness, both of Parkersburg.

There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
