James G. Hudnall, 75, of Owensboro, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at the University Hospital in Louisville. Born June 26, 1029 to the late Clyde and Euva Givens Hudnall, Mr. Hudnall was a member of the Hall Street Baptist Church where he was a member of the Loyal Workers Sunday School Class. He was retired from Colonial Bakery where he was a mechanic. Mr. Hudnall was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict; member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans; and enjoyed playing golf, watching UK basketball and working on cars.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Miller Hudnall; a son, Tim and his wife Ann Hudnall of Knoxville, TN; a daughter, Sheila McDaniel of Dunedin, FL; five grandchildren, Thomas Hudnall and Charlotte Hudnall of Knoxville, and Cameron McDaniel, Matthew Li and Michael Li of Dunedin, FL; a brother, Bobby Hudnall of Penrod, KY and two sisters, Marci Whittaker of Lewisburg and Joyce Rohrer of Russellville, KY.
Funeral services are 11:30 A.M. Monday, August 16, 2004 at Glenn Funeral Chapel with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens with military honors povided by VFW Post 696. Visitation will be from 1-6 P.M. on Sunday, August 15, 2004 and after 10 A.M. on Monday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hall Street Baptist Church Activities Center.
