James Thomas "Tom" Fenwick

James Thomas "Tom" Fenwick, 63, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born July 29, 1953 in Daviess Co., Ky. Tom was retired as a Senior Mechanic and Certified Welder with Big Rivers Electric and Western Kentucky Energy after 30 years of service. Tom loved watching history channels and war movies, listening to country music, building model cars, and building and flying remote control airplanes, and Nascar racing. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Fenwick.

Surviving are his wife, who he had been with for over 30 years, Janie Walls Fenwick, two daughters, Yovanda Walls and Vania Marrett and husband Jake of Owensboro, three sons, James Christopher Fenwick of Everett, WA, Ronnie Fenwick and wife Jamiee of Indianapolis, IN, and Jarel Walls of Charlotte, N.C., his mother, Wilma Carter Fenwick of Owensboro, seven grandchildren, Nevaeh Roberts, Ezra Fenwick, Hannah Sheppard, Jazmyn Adams, Griffin Fenwick, Phoebe Fenwick, and Amara Marrett, four sisters, Jean Fenwick of St. Louis, MO, Louise Bomgardner and husband Tom of Owensboro, Beverly Cecil and husband Denny of Owensboro, and Frances Howell and husband Kenneth of Hartford, a brother, Danny Fenwick and wife Juanita of Cincinnati, OH, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 26, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory officiated by Pastor Thomas Webb. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
