James Kenneth "Kenny" Clark, 64, of Owensboro died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at his home. He was born in Knottsville to the late, Adrian and Kathleen (Millay) Clark. Kenny retired from Kight Lumber. He loved being a driver for GRITS, a job he began after retirement. He had owned a grocery store on fourth street, Clarks Supersaver for ten years. He was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church, and was involved with St. Vincent DePaul, and Knights of Columbus. Kenny liked sports, UK basketball, and never missed one of his grandchildren's games. He also liked playing cards, and carpentry.
Surviving is his loving wife of 42 years, Martha Clark, sons; Matt (Berrie) Clark and Nick (Elisha) Clark, both of Owensboro, a daughter; Amy (James) Mattingly of Knottsville, grandchildren; Blakeley and Jack Clark, Hunter Boling, Chloe, Ezra and Elijah Mattingly, Leah, Lauren and Camille Clark, sisters; Cathy Ford of Owensboro, Phyllis Gipson of Birmingham, AL., and a brother Sherman Clark of Knottsville.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Immaculate Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday with prayers at 7:30 P.M. at Glenn Funeral Home, and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
