James Rudy Carden

Mr. James Rudy Carden, 84, of Owensboro died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at Wellington Parc Nursing Home. The Ohio County native was a member of First Baptist Church and the King's People Sunday School Class. He was a retired barber who had worked with his father at the Rudd Hotel Barber Shop and later had his own shop in the 300 Block of Frederica Street for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emmaleen K. Carden in 1991.

He is survived by a brother, Shirley Carden of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 19, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Firends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 P.M. on Friday and after 9 A.M. on Saturday.

Expressions of sympathy should take the form of contributions to the Kentucky Baptist Home for Children.
