James "Jimmy" F. Bradley

James "Jimmy" F. Bradley, 68, of Owensboro passed away Sunday. Born December 9, 1950 in Covington to Mabel Colburn Bradley and the late Leo Bradley, Jimmy graduated from Daviess County High School ('68) where he played trumpet in the band. After serving in the Army, Jimmy began his career as a heavy equipment operator then transitioned to working in the store room and coal yard at the Indiana-Michigan Power Plant. Leaving there he returned to Local 181 and continued his work at TVA until his retirement. Jimmy operated everything from ore boats to locomotives as well as the land grading for Walmart on Hwy 54 and construction of the new Natcher Bridge. He enjoyed vacations, golf, playing his trumpet, and riding his motorcycle on which he made several road trips with friends.

Survivors include his wife, Debby Collignon Bradley; daughters, Camille Brann and husband Rob of Lexington and Jennifer Wolff and husband Bradley of Auburn; five grandchildren, Eli, Taylor, and Lillyan Wolff and Grace and Riley Brann; mother, Mabel Bradley of Owensboro; sister, Chris Bell (Danny); brothers, Leo Bradley (Paula) and Doug Bradley (Tammy); several nieces and nephews.

Condolences may be paid to the family of Jimmy Bradley at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am until the memorial service at 12:00 noon. A private burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens at a later date.
