James Woodrow Blincoe, 90, passed away at his home on October 15th, 2013. He was born on August 2nd 1923 to the late Charles and Elizabeth Blincoe in Daviess County Kentucky. Mr. Blincoe was a pipefitter by trade. After he retired he enjoyed working in his garden raising tomatoes and many different types of vegetables, tinkering in his work shop, and raising pigeons and rabbits.
In addition to his parents James is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lewis Blincoe; and two sisters, Ophelia Cecil and Marcella Hamilton
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret Hayden Blincoe, sons; Wayne L. Blincoe (Karen) of Owensboro, Roger Dale Blincoe of Lewisport, daughter Linda Marie Blincoe of Louisville; step grandson James Kinison Jr. of Owensboro, and two step great grandchildren; Trey and Kali Kinison, both of Owensboro.
Services will be at 12:00 noon on Friday October 18th at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Tim Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery.
