Ja'lin Ray Midkiff, 5, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Born in Owensboro on April 19, 2003, Ja'lin was a loving boy who enjoyed superheroesSpiderman, Power Rangers, and Transformers.
He is survived by his mother, Ehrin Nicole Midkiff; his father Jason Green and the extended Green family; brothers, Tra'von Green and Marquez Hanley of Owensboro; a sister, Ka'mya Hanley of Owensboro; grandparents, Jeanette (and Tom) Curtis of Sevierville, TN, Douglas Midkiff of Owensboro, Cynthia Hanley of Owensboro, and Cassandra Coe of Bowling Green; great-grandparents, Betty and Jerry Weber of Reo, IN; aunts, Faith Kirby (and J.G. Utley), Brittney Midkiff and Heather (and Dustin) Basham all of Owensboro and Kae'la Allen of Bowling Green; uncles, Anthony Jones, Phillip Jones and Prince Bennett all of Bowling Green; great-aunts, Jeri Buchanan of Evansville, Lana Weber of Reo, and Edie (and Tony) Weber of Eureka, IN; a special friend and care-giver, Tamesha Jones of Owensboro, his god-father, Lawrence Carter, Jr. of Owensboro and several cousins.
Services are 1:30 P.M. Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Hall officiating followed by burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. on Friday and after 11 A.M. on Saturday.
