Jackie Lee Bolton

Jackie Lee Bolton, 68, of 1200 E. Byers Ave., passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Ohio Co., to the late Roscoe and Margaret Jarboe Bolton. He was of the Baptist faith and retired after 34 years as a crane operator for Commonwealth Aluminum Co. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, father-in-law, and brother-in-law, and enjoyed fishing and bowling. He especially loved spending time and playing Wii games with his best buddy and great grandson, Ryuan Goatee. He was also preceded in death by his wife Margaret Ann Bolton on Sept. 2, 2005 and his mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Lucille Davenport.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Sue Kelley of Owensboro, a son, Jackie Lynn Bolton of Evansville, IN, two granddaughters, Apryl Goatee and husband Aaron and Amanda Oliver, all of Owensboro, four great grandchildren, Ryuan and Hannah Goatee and Alexis and Sebastian Oliver, a brother, David Eugene Bolton and wife Angie of Owensboro, a sister, Helen Jean Bolton of Owensboro, four sisters-in-law, Dinah Cook, Rose Deno and husband Jerry, Kathy Jane Davenport, and Katy Sue Hempfling and husband Ricky, all of Owensboro, and two brothers-in-law, Daniel Davenport and wife Carol of Masonville and Raymond Davenport, Jr. of Florida.

Services will be 12 Noon Thursday, March 19, at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
