Jack Skelton

Jack Skelton, 78, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 19, 1946 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the late George and Velsa Skelton. Jack had been a self-employed contractor and had been attending Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic. He enjoyed golfing and having a good conversation with anyone he ran in to. Jack was a history buff, enjoyed watching football and other sports, and loved his family very much. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Dick Skelton. 

 Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Debbie; son Justin Skelton (Courtney Bricker) and daughter Courtney Elizabeth Skelton, all of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Thomas and Lucas Skelton; Two stepchildren, Rachel Alsup and Justin McMahan (Lisa), all of Owensboro; two step grandchildren, Ava Brown and Rubyann McMahan; and a sister, Nancy Waggoner (Mike) of Indianapolis.

 A funeral Mass will be held at 11AM Tuesday, February 4 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation will be at 10 AM at the church. Burial will be Wednesday in Greenlawn Cemetery in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
