Jack W. Metcalf, 66, of 3501 Surrey Dr., E., Owensboro, died Tuesday, February 19, 2002 at his home. The London, KY native attended Immanuel Baptist Church; was a retired painter; enjoyed restoring furniture and antiques; and enjoyed church.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Metcalf in 1980.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy May Miller Metcalf; five daughters, Debra Creamer and Deandra Barnes of Owensboro, Diana Positano of Central City, Angie Faver of Newburgh, and Jackie DeBevec of Peoria, AZ; a step-son, Lester Radford of Owensboro; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Pauline Peppenhorst of Phoenix, AZ; three half-brothers, Bill Metcalf, Jerry Metcalf and Danny Metcalf of Dayton, OH ; and three half-sisters, Betty Metcalf, Sharon Metcalf and Joann Metcal all of Dayton, OH.
Funeral services are 1 P.M. Friday, February 22, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Sunnydale Cemetery in Ohio County. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Thursday and after 10 A.M. on Friday.
