J. D. Richardson

J. D. Richardson, 79, of East Highland Court, Owensboro, died Monday, January 28, 2008, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY. He was born May 19, 1928 to the late James and Sally Hoover Richardson in Ohio County. He was a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church, an Army Veteran and enjoyed NASCAR, Kentucky basketball, playing pool and being with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arnold and Geoffrey Richardson.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rosa; his children, Skip Richardson and his wife, Gena of Hartford, Betty Frey of Owensboro, Dennis Richardson and his wife, Tracy of Owensboro, Deborah Gilmore and her husband, Duncan of Owensboro, and Pamela Lindsey and her husband, William of Bremen; twelve grandchildren, Frankie Richardson and his wife, Jennifer, Mandy Richardson, Cassie Frey and her fiance', Brian Cecil, Jeff White, Aaron Richardson, Derrick Glass and Lori, Chris Tague, John Michael Lindsey and his wife, Amanda, Robert Lindsey and his wife, Kelly, Eric Lindsey, Bridgett Nance and her husband, Adam, and Brittany Lindsey; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Larry Rhoades, Pat and family.

Services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and after 9:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Abundant Life Church Bldg. Fund, P.O. Box 300, Bremen, KY 42325.
