Isaac Taylor

February 7, 1925 — March 21, 2007

Isaac Nay Taylor, 82, of 3236 Old Hartford Rd., Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in McHenry, Ky. to the late Arthur Washington & Lou Jenia Phillips Taylor. He was retired from the General Electric Co. Small Motors Plant and was a member of the Church of the Living God where he was an ordained elder. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He enjoyed raising a garden, watching aviation movies, and spending time doing things with his family. He was very dedicated to his church and to the Lord. He was preceded in death by two sons, Terrell Taylor on March 10, 1988 and Gary Taylor on March 26, 2004, four sisters, Ethel Taylor, Joanna Taylor , and Erma Chiles, Authur Mae Lavester, and two brothers, Tom T. Taylor and Felix Taylor.

Surviving is his wife of 24 years, Ina Jean Taylor, seven daughters, Mary Evelyn (Jason) Boyd of Dayton, Oh., Sabrina (George) Palmer of Bowling Green, Ky., Samanthia Kay Taylor of Lexington, Sibaria Fay Taylor of Columbia, S. C., Gayle Taylor, Penny Taylor, and Jennifer Taylor, all of Owensboro, three sons, Jerry Scott Taylor of Madisonville, Ky., Mark Taylor of Redondo Beach, Ca., and Roscoe (Christie) Robinson of Owensboro, two stepdaughters, Carolinda Nurse of Owensboro and Brenda Fleming of Washington State, 22 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren, and three brothers, W. G. Taylor of Evansville, and Joseph Taylor and David Taylor , both of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 24, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
