Iris L. Snodgrass

Iris L. Snodgrass, 78, of 1820 Hughes Ave., Owensboro, died Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Sidney, Ohio on December 19, 1924 the daughter of Claude and Callie Bruce Goshorn. Her husband, Louis G. Snodgrass, preceded her in death on August 31, 1986.

Mrs. Snodgrass was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary in Ohio, and she did a lot of volunteer work in Ohio. She liked to fish and crochet.

Survivors include two sons, George Snodgrass of Sidney, OH and David Snodgrass of Daytona Beach, FL; three daughters, Joanne Lenhart and Sharon McLean, both of Owensboro and Peggy Testor of Ashland, OH; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Laneta Konak of St. Petersburg, FL.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday,Februaury 17, 2003 at the Chapel of Peace, Rosehill Cemetery, Owensboro, Kentucky. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery. Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of donations to the Daviess County Diabetes Coalition, P.O. Box 309, Owensboro ,Kentucky 42302-0309.
