Irene Margaret Ayres

Irene Margaret Ayres, 88, of Lewisport, KY passed away June 29 2014. Irene was born on September 28, 1925 to the late Joseph and Eva Zlomaniec in Kalamazoo, MI. She was an office manager for Metropolitan Life and when she retired she spent her time volunteering for Hospice, the hospital, and other organizations in the community. She also loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ayres and a brother Ted Loman.

Survivors include a son Jim (Nancy) Ayres of Grand Rapids MI; a daughter, Jackie (Paul) Collignon of Philpot; grandchildren Bethany Ayres, Kyle Sinke, Kevin Collignon, and Paul Jared Collignon; and great grandchildren Kendall and Kellen Sinke

Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hospice organization of your choice.

Services will be private and burial will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, Kalamazoo, MI
